Personality: 

 > Rarely smiles – Ah Reum comes off as cold because of this and doesn’t seem like someone you would want to befriend at first glance. But when she sings, she sings with a lot of emotion and seems like an entirely different person (oh, and she does actually smile when she is with her friends, it’s just that she doesn’t have any friends in the kpop industry yet )

History: 

Han Ah Reum had always loved singing and knew that she was going to study music at X university ever since she was a kid. But everything changed when the fire nation attacked when she developed a crush on her high school classmate, Tae Min, who talked her into forming an indie rock band with him and some of his friends. They named the band dev1 (pronounced devil) and it went well for them, they hadn’t too many fans, but Ah Reum was happy just being with Tae Min. One day, after one of their better performances, she decided that she was finally going to confess to Tae Min. Looking for him, though, she ended up finding him in the dressing room with the rest of the band – talking about her. Ah Reum thought that she probably shouldn’t eavesdrop on them, but just as she was about to leave she heard Tae Min say “Ah Reum is a good singer and all, but she is stealing the spotlight. I didn’t think she would ever be more than a visual, and now look at her!” And so she stopped to listen.

“Yeah, it really is annoying to have her in the band, Tae Min-sshi you’re much better suited for being the lead singer than she is!” his friends agreed. “You know what? We should just ... kick her out! Tell her we’re disbanding or something and then go and sign a contract with some big company!” Tae Min continued.

Ah Reum was dumfounded. “But aren’t you two going out? I think Ah Reum-sshi really likes you” the drummer asked, to which Tae Min replied “Nah, I just needed a pretty girl in the band, and it’s not like I was forcing her to join or anything”. She had heard enough, so she marched right in there and punched Tae Min in the face with the words “JUST YOU WAIT, I’M GOING TO SURPASS YOU, TAE MIN YOU JERK!” before grabbing her stuff and walking right out again. Tae Min followed her to the doorway and yelled “you? Ha! I made you; dev1’s Han Ah Reum is my invention! You can’t do without me!” after her, so Ah Reum stopped walking, turned on her heels and said “Oh, I’m sorry, guess you didn’t understand me. I quit this sorry excuse for a band, oppa” she said in an exaggeratedly sweet voice. Then she left.

A week or so passed, and when her friend hired her as a solo act at her bar a talent scout asked her to join S.O.S.

And so, she did.

Fun Facts: 

    ·   Her voice is the same as Hyorin’s in this www.youtube.com/watch?v=p6XLNs…

    ·   Ah Reum is half-greek from her mother’s side.

    ·   She used to look down on kpop idols (because of how the female idols dress and are two-faced most of the time) before learning how hard it is to be one.

    ·   She naturally has thick eyebrows and a lot of eyelashes, and she usually wears fake eyelashes to further highlight that.

    ·   She doesn’t tell anyone that she is a halfie, so a lot of people assume that she has gotten double eyelid surgery etc.

    ·   She weighs a whole darn lot for a kpop idol, 1/3 more than some of her co-idols, but she can’t really help it since she is a halfie, and talked her manager into making it her selling point.

    ·   Looks a lot like Kiko Mizuhara, actually.

    ·   Has a potty-mouth no matter what her mood is tbh
